There is a quote that gets me through scary times in my life:
"If you want something you've never had, you have to be willing to do something you've never done."
I love my home. I want to marry my fiance here. I want to raise my children here. But now I am faced with a dare to be great situation that will require me to move across the state to take advantage of a great opportunity that has been set before me. This opportunity will help my career greatly and allow me to establish my name in the industry. It's really everything I've ever wanted, but there's one catch: I have to leave my home, step outside my comfort zone.
Truth be told my grandmother is driving me crazy so I could use a break. I'm in my mid twenties and I haven't done very much with my life. And while I'm scared that I will have had no kind of life before I decide to have children, I am also scared that I will not get to raise my family in the place I love.
So I tell this great void that is my blog (for as I said, I have no readers) I have choices to make. I will keep this void posted on my progress. Or maybe not. Who knows?
